Jim Lewis è un autore statunitense. Nato a Cleveland e cresciuto fra New York e Londra, ha insegnato filosofia e letteratura alla Columbia University. Ha inoltre scritto di arte visiva per numerose pubblicazioni e cataloghi, e pubblicato saggi e reportage su decine di riviste fra cui il New York Times Magazine, Granta, Slate, Vanity Fair, Wired.
