Nicholas Crane

Nicholas Crane è nato a Hastings, ma è cresciuto lungo le coste selvagge del Norfolk e ha imparato a scalare in Scozia. È scrittore, giornalista, geografo ed esploratore. Collabora con il Daily Telegraph, il Guardian, il Sunday Times e con la BBC per cui ha curato il programma Coast (premio BAFTA). Ha viaggiato a lungo in Tibet, Cina, Afghanistan, Africa e ha identificato per primo, insieme con il cugino Richard Crane, il polo geografico continentale dell’inaccessibilità, ovvero il punto sulla Terra emersa più distante da mare e oceani, che si trova nel deserto di Gobi.
