Per celebrare il 50° anniversario dell’uscita del debut album dei CAMEL, viene pubblicato questo mastodontico box set LTD EDITION ‘Air Born: The MCA & Decca Years 1973-1984’: 32 dischi (27 CD e 5 Blu-ray) con tutte le composizioni della band britannica uscite dal 1973 al 1984 su album e singoli + registrazioni inedite. Il cofanetto, tributo definitivo ad una delle progressive rock band più innovative, include anche un lussuoso libro con illustrazioni, note bio-discografiche a cura di Mark Powell ed un poster. Oltre alle incisioni in studio rimasterizzate ci sono out-takes dalle session di registrazione dei vari album, apparizioni al BBC Radio ‘In Concert’ nel 1974, 1975, 1977 e 1981 e tre concerti londinesi completi, uno al Marquee Club nel 1974 e due all’Hammersmith Odeon nel 1976 e 1977. Il set contiene anche 5 Blu-ray disc. Tre con il nuovo missaggio stereo e 5.1 Surround Sound degli album ‘Camel’, ‘Mirage’, ‘Music Inspired By The Snow Goose’, ‘Moonmadness’ e ‘Nude’. Il quarto Blu-ray è una collezione di video clip promozionali ed apparizioni alla BBC nei programmi ‘The Old Grey Whistle Test’ e ‘Sight And Sound In Concert’ mentre il quinto Blu-ray è una performance dal vivo tratta dal film-concerto del 1984 ‘Pressure Points’.
