Artificial Intelligence in HCI
The 7th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in HCI, AI-HCI 2026, held as part of the 28th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, HCI International 2026 (HCII 2026), took place in Montreal, QC, Canada, during July 2026. A total of 7435 individuals from academia, research institutes, industry, and government agencies from 94 countries submitted contributions to HCII 2026. Following peer review, 1463 papers and 360 posters (as short research papers) are included in the volumes of the HCII 2026 proceedings published just before the start of the conference. Four volumes (LNCS 16743, 16744, 16745 and 16746) of the HCII 2026 proceedings are dedicated to this year’s edition of the AI-HCI Affiliated Conference focusing on topics related to: Artificial Intelligence in HCI (Part I): Generative AI for Design and Creativity; Human-Centered AI Methods and Design Frameworks; and Bias, Fairness, Ethics, and AI Governance Artificial Intelligence in HCI (Part II): Evaluation, Reasoning, and Internal Behavior of AI Models; Designing Interaction with Generative AI and Intelligent Agents; and Designing Trustworthy Agents for AI-Assisted Decision Making Artificial Intelligence in HCI (Part III): Trust, Explainability, and Human Sensemaking; Human-Centered AI in Applied and Societal Contexts; and Large Language Models Interaction and Prompting Artificial Intelligence in HCI (Part IV): AI for Health, Well-Being, and Inclusivity; Professional, Industrial, and Workplace AI Applications; and AI in Education and Learning Contexts
