Twelve years ago, Jade Bowyer, a tough young firefighter, watched a man die in a terrible blaze. Curtis Hoole was a criminal, an arsonist and a murderer. Until she can be sure of this man's identity, she must keep him alive, because she can't kill the same person twice. No matter what he knows about her past . . .
