The Boy and the Tiger: Fluency 11

Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 15 fluency levels aimed at children in Years 2-4. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading. Fluency 11 books have a word count of 6000 words with an expected reading rate of 125 words per minute. Jai is a boy whose dad has gone missing in the jungle near their home. Himmat is a tiger whose mother was taken. Surely these two stories from very different worlds aren’t connected?!
