Kaveh Akbar è un autore, poeta e editor iraniano-americano. Si è trasferito negli Stati Uniti quando aveva due anni, crescendo tra New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin e Indiana. Sue poesie sono apparse su “The New Yorker”, “The New York Times”, “The Paris Review”, “The Best American Poetry”. È autore di due raccolte di poesie: Pilgrim Bell (libro dell’anno secondo “NPR”, “Times” e “The Guardian”) e Calling a Wolf a Wolf.Martire! pubblicato in Italia da La nave di Teseo nel 2024 è entrato nella shortlist finalista del National Book Award 2024.
