The religion of ancient Egypt was faith in eternal life. The head priest Imhotep chose a large group of lonely priests who devoted themselves exclusively to studying astronomy. They all experienced illumination, during which they discovered in their consciousness a particular mathematical formula. As a result, they learned the unearthly secrets of physics, mechanics, astrophysics and cosmology. It was Imhotep who enabled them to study the universe and build a space vehicle. They found in a different star system a planet similar to Earth, and they went to this planet when Egypt was occupied by Alexander the Great, because they lost their raison d'être. They thought they were going to die, but they had nothing to lose, although this secret mathematical formula promised them eternal life. The journey lasted over two hundred years. When they reached their destination, they immediately began working on faster space vehicle, to travel to Earth in order to search for people predisposed to the population of this planet. Because of planet's unspeakable beauty, they named her after the Egyptian goddess of heaven, love and music, Hathor. The action of the novel begins in the twenty-third century, during their last mission to Earth. They had to find a few more people to have Hathor one hundred and forty-four thousand inhabitants who had in mind this important mathematical formula for eternal life, as foretold in Revelation. John. Meanwhile, on Earth, being alone, harassed by mysterious enemies, Confucia tries to find a space in the surrounding world where she could calmly take root. She has a turbulent past behind her - political activity, staying in a suspicious religious community and in a psychiatric hospital. The whole world has conspired against het, esoteric, magic, technology, evil forces... Everything would seem hopeless, until one day she discovers in her mind the mathematical equation of eternal life.
