Compositore russo. Allievo di B. Galuppi a Pietroburgo e a Venezia, dopo il ritorno in patria (1779) fu nominato direttore della cantoria di corte. Compose 6 opere teatrali (la più nota è l'opera comica Le foucon, 1786), molta musica vocale sacra, sonate per pianoforte, una sinfonia, un quintetto con arpa e pianoforte e altra musica da camera.
