Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen è un cantautore e chitarrista rock. Per gran parte della sua carriera ha lavorato con la E Street Band. Fra i suoi album di maggior successo si ricordano Born to Run, Darkness on the Edge of Town, The River e Born in the U.S.A. È stato ammesso alla Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, alla Songwriters Hall of Fame e alla New Jersey Hall of Fame. Vincitore di venti Grammy Awards e di un Oscar, ha ricevuto il Kennedy Center Honors. Vive nel New Jersey con la sua famiglia. Nel 2021 ha scritto con Barack Obama RENEGADES. Born in the USA (Garzanti 2021).
