Questa raccolta in 2 CD riunisce 48 tracce tra singoli originali, versioni dub e rare incisioni dell’epoca, con protagonisti come Dillinger, Junior Byles, I Roy, Leo Graham, The Silvertones e naturalmente The Upsetters. Un periodo fondamentale in cui le sperimentazioni sonore di Perry contribuirono a trasformare il reggae, gettando le basi per lo sviluppo del roots e del dub attraverso mix visionari e arrangiamenti rivoluzionari. Molti brani vengono qui presentati per la prima volta su CD, rendendo questa edizione un documento prezioso per appassionati e collezionisti della musica giamaicana.
