I've started this book with little expectations, however I found myself enjoying it. It's a story of love and betrayal, with interesting court intrigue and a fascinating setting.
Although the plot in the second part of the book felt a little bit crammed, and the ending felt rushed there is a good character development, and it's well written.
Overall, it was a nice reading that I would recommend.

I just finished this wonderful book which took my in a jurney through curses, demons and hard choices.
Based on Persian myths and traditions, this world was something new and refreshing, interesting under all aspects. Furthermore, thanks to the authors notes I also had the pleasure to discover and learn more about this culture.
"There was and there was not"
Where does a nightmarish tale end, and a new story begin?
If you appreciate good anti-heros with cool backgrounds, you're going to fall in love with each one of these characters.
Decisions shape paths which entwine with legends and stories. It's a fine line between good and evil. Follow Soraya, the beautiful and cursed protagonist, in her misadventures, and you will discover it yourself!
