Give Me to Drink

Man is three dimensional; composing of body, soul, and spirit. From these three constituents are derived the natural, carnal and spiritual man. The natural man is made up of flesh and blood and is guided by five senses – taste, sight, touch, smell and hearing – all of which prompts him to yearn after, what psychologists defines as, the five basic needs of life; food, clothing, shelter, safety, and love and belonging. There is no harm in desiring such commodities, however, it is extremely dangerous for man to assume that all he needs to survive are 'things' – This disposition completely erases God from the picture and replaces him with objects of idolatry! Mankind, therefore, must be awakened to the Spirit; whenever the spirit of man is made alive, through the word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in his life, the carnal and the spiritual man becomes active. These two distinct parts yearn for their own fulfillment and place specific demands on the man that, if not fully comprehended, will cause that man to live in utter misery, confusion, and defeat. The confusion of this age can be seen in the futile and foolish attempts that many have made to find true joy and satisfaction – The result is a world filled with unhappy, empty and hurting souls; scarred from the wrong life choices that they made. This book highlights the only solution to a happy and fulfilled life; that solution is God! He knows exactly what you are thirsting for and he is able to eternally quench that thirst – Today, you have the liberty and privilege to make this awesome request of him; "Give Me To Drink".
