Scrittore canadese cresciuto a Cobourg, nell’Ontario. Esperto di ingegneria elettronica, ha lavorato per diverse emittenti radiotelevisive canadesi, oltre che per l’istituto politecnico di Ryerson a Toronto, prima di diventare direttore presso il "Centro Media" dell’Università di Saskatchewan, a Saskatoon, dov'è rimasto venticinque anni prima di ritirarsi nel 1994. A partire da quell'anno, si è dedicato a tempo pieno alla scrittura. È stato il primo presidente dei Saskatoon Writers, e membro fondatore della Saskatchewan Writers Guild. Le sue storie per ragazzi sono state pubblicate sul Canadian Children’s Annual, e un suo racconto, Meet Miss Mullen, è stato il primo a ricevere il Saskatchewan Writers Guild Award for Children Literature....
