The nightmare began as it always did. He was staring at his colleague. It's got to look right. His searching eyes scanned the lounge. Now he was at the front door with detective sergeant Miller getting her into a coat. Now opening the door and peering along the landing. He was downstairs checking. He was running up and staring at the unconscious woman propped against Miller. It had to be done. We've no choice. They were staring at each other and he nodded. Together they pushed until she was off balance, then they let her go watched her fall to her intended death. Now they were at ground floor level stepping over her dead body. But had they been seen?
