The Group Process

The Group Process is a detention based program that is similar to Group Guided Intervention (GGI) module and Positive Peer Culture (PPC) module. The Group Process module has evolved from over 25 years of application in a working environment and flourished into a highly successful program. The Group Process foundation was taken from PPC and GGI and developed into a program that works very well in a high secure juvenile detention center. Nonetheless, it continues to change and strengthen to accommodate ever changing policies and practices, and it exposes problems, harmful behaviors, and issues. It is a process and a function that the group uses to "help" one another solve those exposed problems and address the behaviors harmful to others in a respectful caring manner.
