Heavy Metal Murder

The ink isn't dry on her private investigator's license and Jessica Byrne's rich client, Daniel Swiggerd, is on ice down at the morgue. Forty miles from Philly and lovingly called Potts Vegas for the weirdos and the crime rate, Pottstown, PA perches on the banks of the muddy Schuylkill River in the shade of the nuclear power plant's cooling towers. Its where brand new private investigator Jessica Byrne has just set up shop with her best friend, Sam, a paranormal investigator who hunts demons and the undead. It's also where Jessica's radiation-level hot ex-boyfriend and main competition, Max O'Conner, works. Jessica's client Daniel is really dead, Sam's trying to communicate with his spirit through her Ouija board, and Jessica's only other client, Vlad, is in the clink, charged with his gruesome murder. Now Jessica's in a race to prove Vlad's innocence, catch the real killer and save her new business from going kaput. When her case crosses paths with Max's, they're forced to team up, go incognito to a private 80's dance party, and fight off fast food fancying gangsters and their feelings for each other as they bend the law and destroy a few Cadillacs to solve the mystery.
