The Historical Development of British Investment in Malaya Before the Second World War

The research is based on the method of observation of the resources available in the library and the National Archives of Malaysia. This study will examine the factors that contributed to the British investment, as well as the parties involved in making this investment. In addition, this study will also look at the policy of the British government to help control their investments in Malaya. The study will also analyze the impact of economic changes brought by the British on the socio-economic structure of the Malays. This allows for an in-depth investigation to what extent the socio-economic structure of the Malays change as a result of British intervention. All these aspects will be explored in depth by the researcher.
