The Honoured Human

This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice. We have honoured the children of Adam. Before Islam tells you what to do, it tells you what you are. A creature made by hand and breathed into. A trustee of the earth. Someone whose dignity was announced by God before any human being had done a single thing to earn it. The Honoured Human sets out what Islam teaches about being human — in seventeen short chapters arranged as an argument, each built around its own verses, its own prophetic scenes, and its own closing practice. It begins with what a human being is in God’s sight and draws out what follows: for the body, the mind, work, suffering, other people, and the end of life. It is a book to be used, not merely finished: a chapter a week, with its practice actually lived. Forty hadith, a study guide, a glossary, and an index of every verse cited are at the back. Second edition, revised and reset. Book Twenty of The New Muslim Companion — a series of twenty books for the new Muslim, the returning Muslim, and the curious reader: plain English, no Arabic assumed, honest about where scholars differ.
