Jason Parker is a man with too much money and too much time on his hands. As much as he loves his job, developing and testing technology for various major companies all around the world, he knows that there has to be more to life than this. It could have something to do with the fact that despite his money and good looks, he hasn't had a date in several months, so when his best friend hires him an escort to accompany him to a fundraiser hosted by one of the companies he does work for so he doesn't show up alone again, he ends up going along with it. Charlotte is gorgeous, well read, and terribly interesting. By the end of the night Jason knows he wants to see her again, this time without the expectation that comes with her job, but she turns him down. Not used to taking no for an answer, Jason pursues her and quickly finds out that there is more to her than meets the eye, namely the man who is the main reason why she's doing that job in the first place. Charlotte is charmed by him and seems like she wants to give him a chance, but saying things are complicated is an understatement, and if Jason wants to keep the one person who has excited him in years, he's going to have to dive head first into the fray.
