Since you are reading this book, I guess it’s safe to assume that you need help or, at least, are interested in getting to know God more. I’m glad to tell you that the heavens are rejoicing every single time a person seeks God, as mentioned in Luke 15:10 - “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Do you find yourself unable to hear God’s voice? Are you having a hard time understanding His will in your life? This book contains proven steps and strategies on how to know and hear God’s voice, develop a relationship with Him, seek His will, and grow in faith. It will help you in your journey as a Christian. I wrote this book as a guide so you don’t have to follow it word for word. We can follow our own pace and work on our own timeframe. You must remember that the goal is not to finish fast but to finish sure, as is mentioned in Ecclesiastes 9:11, “I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.” This book also provides Bible verses that relates to each concept discussed. I have enumerated the steps needed to accomplish your goal and have divided them into five chapters. This is to make it easier to digest and to follow through. When I found out how to communicate with God, it was such a great experience. It changed my point of view and my lifestyle. I'm sure yours will too, and by the end of the book, you should be able to tune out distractions and focus on God’s voice. Here Is A Preview Of What You'll Learn... Preparing to Hear God's Voice Removing the Voice of Guilt Knowing God’s Voice Seeking God's Voice Decoding God’s Message Much, much more! Preparing to Hear God's Voice “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. ” - Matthew 7:24 Like in all structures, laying and building foundation is the first step. Having a strong foundation is the key to a strong structure. This also applies to our relationship with God. There are a few parables about foundations and God is so intent on making sure we have a strong one and that our “houses” are built on the rock. Through Psalm 78:35, “And they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God their Redeemer,” it was stated that God himself is the rock. He is implying that we establish our faith on Him. To be able to withstand any storm that comes in our life, we must have a strong foothold. How do we get that? We must have God in our life. He must be our cornerstone, the rock to which we hold on to. Psalm 18:2 says, “The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Since we are laying foundations, we need to know God more. How would we believe if we lack knowledge? We must listen to and familiarize ourselves with Him. Is there a better way to know a person than to spend time with him? Reading the Bible gives us the information our soul needs. This was mentioned in 2 Timothy 3:16, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”
