In the Mirror
Angie has always believed it is easier to capture someone else's truth than reveal her own. A talented photographer known for seeing the emotions others hide, Angie has built her career around vulnerability while keeping her own heart carefully protected. Years after a devastating breakup with the woman she once loved, she has convinced herself that staying behind the lens is safer than stepping into the picture. Then she meets Brian, an ambitious architect determined to restore a forgotten boutique hotel into something more than a luxury destination. He wants to create a place where people can reconnect with themselves, but his own journey toward accepting his bisexual identity has taught him that honesty is the only way to live freely. Lisa joins their project as a wellness consultant, recently free from an engagement that forced her to question whether she had ever truly chosen her own path. As she works alongside Angie and Brian, she begins discovering feelings she never expected—and realizes attraction, love, and identity are far more complicated than the rules she once followed. Together, they transform the Hawthorne Hotel into a sanctuary built around self-discovery, courage, and acceptance. Each room becomes a reflection of a different emotional journey, encouraging guests to embrace the parts of themselves they once tried to hide. But while they help others find their truth, the three creators must face their own. When old heartbreak returns and past fears resurface, Angie must decide whether she will continue protecting herself from love or finally allow herself to be seen. Lisa must embrace the reality that her heart does not need permission to feel. Brian must stop carrying the responsibility of making everyone else comfortable. What begins as friendship becomes something deeper—something that challenges expectations but is built on trust, communication, and respect. In a world that demands simple answers, they discover that love is not always defined by tradition or labels. Sometimes the greatest connection comes from accepting every version of yourself and finding people who love you through all of them. In the mirror, they finally see what they spent years searching for: Not perfection. Not approval. Just the truth.
