Colm, a college dropout with a dead-end job, is convinced that the world has abandoned him. When a chance encounter leads him to a magical shop, he's given an enchanted dice, on the condition that he uses it to help a young woman named Rye find her way home. Each roll of the dice is laced with promise and regret: even numbers grant a wish, while odds steal a year of his life. Initially skeptical, Colm succumbs to greed, wishing for riches, only to realize the magic is all too real, and he's now bound to dark magic with deadly consequences. Drawn into Rye's supernatural world, Colm finds himself caught in a dangerous game as they're pursued by her sadistic captors, hell-bent on using Rye to gain access to Lady Luck and her power over the world's fate and fortune. With each roll of the dice, Colm grapples with guilt and a growing awareness of its malevolent power. Desperate to rid himself of its curse, Colm learns that Lady Luck is the only one who can free him from his burden. But he must find her before the dice claims his life—and before Rye's pursuers find the Lady—or all is lost.
