reading this book (in a couple of hours) is a canon event i really loved the division in four chapters as i was able to go through the four stages separately even though i’ve never experienced, in real life, some of these powerful emotions: trauma, love, loss and healing my favourite chapter is “the loving” because it made me realise i shouldn’t suffocate my crave of romance and love in life i also loved the metaphor of honey in each chapter: maybe it’s just me who got too influenced by the title, but i’m sure i felt some sort of sweetness in these words and pages i will surely come back to this book! hands down this is my favourite poem (even before reading this book i knew that one): “on days like this i need you to run your fingers through my hair and speak softly” -you
