A Moveable Feast
A Moveable Feast is arguably the most well-known novel set in Paris during the twentieth century. In it, Ernest Hemingway reminisces about his early years in Paris as a struggling writer in love with both his wife and life itself. The memoir conjures up a beautiful moment in Paris in the 1920s, when "we were extremely impoverished and very happy," as Hemingway puts it. When Ernest Hemingway passed away in 1961, he was almost finished with A Moveable Feast, which was published posthumously in 1964 and edited by his widow Mary Hemingway. This new special edition of Hemingway's iconic memoir of his early years in Paris in the 1920s includes the original manuscript as he intended it to be published when he died. This new book also includes unfinished Paris sketches on writing and experiences that Hemingway had with his son, Jack, his wife, Hadley, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ford Maddox Ford, and others.
