On Morality

In this provocative talk, Osho challenges the conventional idea that morality can be created by deliberately cultivating a particular character or set of virtues. He argues that such cultivation can create a false personality—a facade built around what we actually are, leading to repression, inner conflict, and the desire to appear more righteous than we feel. For Osho, authentic morality cannot come from pretending to be something we are not. True transformation begins with awareness and honesty, not with imposed ideals or moral conditioning.
