Outbreak

The oath is taken, the die is cast. The lands of Periand have named their champions, and with grim determination the chosen few begin their long journey to Hell's Bastion, the dark seat of power that is claimed by Moragil the Faceless. They are joined by the task to destroy the Amulet of Planar Summoning, within the one place where the demonic energies cannot shield it from mortal destruction, but their ranks are not so unified. Their lands have been cast asunder by war, and old hatreds cannot be undone with mere words. It shall take fresh challenges to test the strength of the fellowship, to forge new bonds or see their fragile alliance shattered, before they can even begin to face the dangers of Moragil's own machinations. Wars close in upon all sides, and survival will come only while the Company stand together, but none are immune to the darker memories. Haunted by his past, by memories of deeds he has committed and fears for sins that may yet come to pass, Katchanga must learn to face the nightmare that has dominated his thoughts for far too long. He must risk everything to conquer the fear, to acknowledge the true levels of his potential, and should he fail the fate of all shall be sealed. The odds are stacked against them, success hangs in the balance, and there are more threats than Moragil's foul minions to contend with. As conflicts sweep the nations, and war with the Dark Lord draws ever closer, can the Company find the strength to endure, and can Katchanga find the resolve to accept who and what he is?
