Andrew Sean Greer è uno scrittore statunitense, vincitore del Premio Pulitzer per la narrativa nel 2018 con il romanzo Less. Figlio di due scienziati ha studiato con Robert Coover e Edmund White alla Brown University. Ha fatto molti lavori a New York: autista, tecnico di teatro, scrittore per la televisione e scrittore senza molto successo. In seguito si è trasferito a Missoula, Montana. In seguito ha vissuto a Seattle e poi a San Francisco dove ha cominciato a scrivere per riviste come Esquire, Paris Review e Story, prima di pubblicare la sua prima raccolta di racconti: How It Was for Me". Il suo primo romanzo: The Path of Minor Planets è stato pubblicato nel 2001 e il suo secondo: La confessione di Max Tivoli nel 2004. John Updike ha paragonato la sua opera a Proust...
