The Priest
. It's the tragic story of a man born into an aristocratic family in 19th century France. His mother died while he was still a child, which had a deep effect on him. After her death, His father, monsieur le Comte, a narcissitic and sadist person subjected him to all sort of abuse. The Comte had a dual persona; the good, likable person, when he was in high society; and the monster he was in private. This dichotomy, plus the direct abuse left a lasting scar on the child budding self. Feeling abandoned by all gods, the young child decides to takes things into his own hands, and decides to kill his father and set fire to the chateau, before going off the radar. Years later, he reappears in a small village in France under the guise of a priest. But, no one knows his past; or who he really is, a malignant narcissit, with seething rage and envy under his mask of sanity. Although, he hated his father, le Comte, and killed him, he inherited from him his wit and beauty. Yes, the priest was both smart and handsome. An advantage he will you use and abuse at will. Although he's smart, years of abuse had destroyed his psyche, and it is more and more difficult to keep his persona. Wherever this man went, he left a trail of suffering and destruction, with no one to stop him. Until now. A woman in the village where he was appointed priest found out his true color and decided to trace back his past. Will this psychopath, this time, get away with his malevolent acts? It's also a story of faith and doubt, with powerful dialogues. In this story, we delve into the psychology of a monster and how he was created.
