The Sabbath is not just a mystery; but even a taunt for even the early church and the apostles were soon in a tussle about it. The gentile church not keeping it; the Jewish church keeping it. Yet it was and has never really been taken to book or fully discussed to bring out its course and effect other than the brisk of it by Moses in Genesis. Genesis 2:2-3 ASV And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it he rested from all his work which God had created and made. Archeology or The Study Of First Things introduces us to an ideal; a whole former world debunking Genesis 2:4. A thing that means yonder the revealed to Moses, there is not just a former earth and beings but it was not even the introduction of the Garden of God nor populating the heaven and earth; but the replenishing there of it; and it was not the inception of creation but a reboot. Meaning we have to go for self further to know any more than he received. Genesis 2:4-6 KJV These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. Upon and yonder the revealed to Moses: one thing has concerned me over the years about the Sabbath, because there are those who shun it and those who keep it. Yet there is none that can give you a vivid explanation of why they keep it or do not keep it. The key reason being the advents keep it because God kept it or sanctified it or for the one who shun it would say it is Old Covenant. And yet there are those who will simply tell you Christ is their Sabbath and the question becomes: How did a day become a Man? Does even Christ say that He is the Sabbath or it is just an excuse to avoid the reality of the knowledge of the Sabbath escaping our notion? To the utter dismay of many, the Sabbath is only a day younger than Adam and began in His time and season. Meaning it comes from way before the Old Covenant and this book is not about keeping or not keeping it but it is the book that explains the Sabbath; its origination, inception, power and effects on man.
