Questa edizione ampliata di THE SECRET MIGRATION è presentata in un lussuoso libro cartonato contenente i testi dell'album originale, molte immagini e nuove note di copertina dell'acclamato autore e giornalista Barney Hoskyns. Pubblicato originariamente nel gennaio 2005, THE SECRET MIGRATION è stato il sesto album dei Mercury Rev e ha seguito All Is Dream (2001), già ristampato come edizione deluxe dalla stessa Cherry Red. Nel Regno Unito, dove la band aveva firmato un contratto con V2, l'album è stato trainato da due singoli di successo come "In A Funny Way" e "Across Yer Ocean".
