The Silver Box

Asil Daniels is tragically orphaned at the tender age of nine. She is taken under the wing of her scheming Aunt Morag who is intent on robbing Asil of her inheritance. Befriended by an old family acquaintance, Dr Bancroft and his mute manservant, Mahari, the distraught Asil escapes her evil aunt's grasp. Guarding a small silver box, unaware that it holds the key to some dark secrets, Asil finds herself submerged in a hair-raising adventure. The mystery deepens, the plot thickens - can Asil be saved from the murderous trio that are trying to dispose of her?
