Terror Murder Profit

Terrorists killing for a payday. It's called economic terrorism by the armchair experts. On the anti-terror battlefields across the world, the simplified version is terror for profit. Terror organizations, some with sovereign governments backing them from the shadows, perpetrate a terror act with a specific economic gain in mind. Knowing the precise location, size and economic backlash that will result from their attack allows a terror group and its allies to benefit financially by counter investing. The purchase of stocks, bonds, currency, precious metals and other fluid investments before the act of terrorism, which will gain in value as a result of their own premeditated plan for violence. In short, it's an exercise in mass murder, allowing for terror cells to sweeten their bank accounts, while at the same time destroying lives. Just such a cadre of terrorists, already with blood on their hands, target private eye Sid Ericson's hometown with a new scheme of terror against innocent victims. It falls on Ericson to shut down the terrorists at any cost, including putting his own life at risk, in order to prevent the next domino from falling.
