After graduating from Durham University, Peter Jemison worked for about twenty years as a senior metallurgist in the Iron and Steel Industry That was followed by a spell in science teaching and then he successfully developed his own insurance broking business. He is a retiree now and has used his wide and varied experience to write three novels, The Unspeakables being the first excursion into print.
