Questo cofanetto 5CD/DVD mette in luce le performance acustiche degli Whitesnake registrate durante gli ultimi 20 anni!
È stato il sound hard rock delle hit come “Still Of The Night” e “Give Me All Your Love Tonight” che portarono gli Whitesnake in tutto il mondo, facendoli diventare una band da successi multi platino.
UNZIPPED: SUPER DELUXE EDITION unisce versioni rare ed inedite di canzoni come “Summer Rain” e “Forevermore” dai recenti album in studio Good To Be Bad (2008) e Forevermore (2011). Sono incluse anche canzoni come “Love Is Blind” dall’album solista di Coverdale, Into The Light (2000); e una canzone inedita “All The Time In The World.”
Il cofanetto contiene oltre alle varie performance live ed unplugged, quelle del tour del 1997 di Coverdale con Vandenberg ed il suo tour con il chitarrista Doug Aldrich, in aggiunta a più di due dozzine di demo acustiche inedite.
Un DVD completa la versione super deluxe con i video delle esibizioni live in tutto il mondo tra il 1997 e il 2015, incluso uno show intero registrato al Cutting Room di New York nel 2008. Di particolare interesse per i fan sarà il video del concerto Starkers In Tokyo, che è stato remixato in 5.1 e stereo esclusivamente per questa raccolta.
Bonus aggiuntivi includono un’intervista con Coverdale e Vandenberg, video bootleg, il video musicale “Love Is Blind” e uno slideshow.
Una versione ridotta è inclusa nel CD singolo, doppio CD e versione doppio LP, in uscita lo stesso giorno.

    Imperdibile se non avete Starkers from Tokyo

    Mi sono regalata questo cofanetto per Natale. Il gioiello che spicca in questo cofanetto è indubbiamente Starkers from Tokyo con il chitarrista Adrian Vandenberg, sia in forma di cd che di dvd video. Carina anche l’altra versione Starkers più recente. Particolare la scelta di aver incluso un cd di demo e materiale inedito.
