BLACK LIVES HAVE ALWAYS MATTERED, A COLLECTION OF ESSAYS, POEMS AND PERSONAL NARRATIVES, edited by Abiodun Oyewole with an afterword by Felipe Luciano, sends a powerful reminder to readers that black lives have always mattered.
