Guitarist Pablo Sáinz-Villegas releases “The Blue Album” - an intimate album of well known atmospheric pieces including Satie’s “Gymnopédie No. 1”, Scarlatti’s “Keyboard Sonata in D minor K32, Debussy’s “Clair de lune”, Max Richter’s “A Catalogue of Afternoons”, Ryuichi Sakamoto’s “Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence” & many more. Sáinz-Villegas says “Blue is an intimate mood, but it is also light fading or while the sun rises. It is this moment of transition between light and darkness, it’s that space in between where music happens. This album conveys some of the most beautiful and intimate melodies ever written. All these pieces create a magical atmosphere, it’s about colours, creating the mood, the mystery. The guitar whispers an invitation to the listener to explore and go to the most intimate part of your soul. It creates a moment to look inside and have a conversation with the essence of yourself.“
