A tribute to the extraordinary Irish People, achieved through 84 photographs (black & white turned Sepia), taken during the 8 journeys of the author in the Emerald Island. The objective catches men and women, young and old people, farmers and fishermen, buggy drivers and musicians, met in pubs, B&Bs, on the road. This time the subject aren’t the enchanting landscapes, but the Irish People, so friendly and hospitable, so proud and full of dignity. Between a portrait and the other, some short travel notes, like the description of an unforgettable session in a little pub, authentic charming lesson about music, social life, traditional Irish culture. There are also the words of some ballads, a fairy tale, an ancient Irish blessing and some notes about the author and his musical compositions. Attached to the book, the multimedia cd “Roberto Storace & friends”, with 16 audio tracks ( 9 original tunes and 7 traditional ones), a video track and a colour slide show of Irish landscapes, with an original soundtrack.
