Jimmy Snuka had a history of abuse toward him and his current girlfriend, Nancy Argentino was no exception. Her family had warned her to get out of the relationship and the young woman started to see their point of view. But the next time the family was due to get together was on the weekend of May 14th, 1983..Nancy was dead. Jimmy Snuka was one of the bigger names to emerge from the heyday of professional wrestling – the 1980s. The Fijian, born James Wiley Smith, packed 230lbs of muscle into his 5' 10" frame. His low centre of gravity helped him circumnavigate the ring with cat-like agility, and he developed moves which earned him the sobriquet 'Superfly'. Born in 1943 on the island of Suva in Fiji, he was already on the road to becoming well known on the circuit in the 1970s, but when the WWF franchise hit the big time, appearing (it seemed) incessantly on TV screens in the 1980s, it took Snuka with it, propelling him to super stardom status. But did he murder his girlfriend?
