The Story Of A Lamb On Wheels by Laura Lee Hope is a children's book that tells the story of a toy lamb named Dorothea who is on wheels. Dorothea is a beloved toy of a young girl named Marjorie and her brother, but one day she accidentally falls out of their carriage and is left behind. Dorothea is then found by a young boy named Dick who is collecting toys for the local orphanage. Dorothea is delighted to join the other toys at the orphanage but soon realizes that she is different from the other toys because of her wheels. The other toys initially tease her, but they eventually come to appreciate her unique talents and skills. In the end, Dorothea is happy to have found a new home and friends at the orphanage.
