Sui Ishida, nato il 28 dicembre 1986 a Fukuoka, è un mangaka giapponese conosciuto principalmente per Tokyo Ghoul, la sua opera più famosa. Dopo essersi diplomato in Belle Arti, Ishida ha attirato l’attenzione con la sua partecipazione al concorso annuale per esordienti indetto dalla Shueisha, dove ha ottenuto una menzione d'onore nel 2010 grazie alla storia breve da cui sarebbe nato proprio Tokyo Ghoul.Nel 2011, ha pubblicato il primo capitolo di Tokyo Ghoul sulla rivista Weekly Young Jump, ottenendo rapidamente un successo internazionale tanto da realizzarne un sequel, dal nome Tokyo Ghoul: re. Entrambe le serie sono state pubblicate in Italia da J-Pop Manga, rispettivamente nel 2014 e nel 2016.Dal 2021 è invece alle prese con Choujin X, nuovo manga seinen pubblicato...
