Captain Greyhound is a Rising Star among the Brotherhood of the Coast, Dreaded as 'The Red Gentleman' to the Spanish Empire. He is contracted by the Governor of Tortuga to track down and destroy a French Man of War, belonging to a rival French Nobleman, an Act of Treason for the Governor, and a Death Sentence for Privateer. Greyhound deceives his cutthroat crew, pays for weapons for the venture with credit from an as of yet unachieved victory, and is haunted by premonitions and nightmares as he pursues the great ship.
