What does celebration mean to you? Which moments in life do you choose to honour, and why? "What Celebration Means to Me" is the fourth volume of Compassiviste's anthology, How to Save the World, and it marks the end of the anthology's first year—certainly a moment worth celebrating! Throughout the year, we have collaborated with an extraordinary group of authors, poets and artists from around the world, with all proceeds from the sale of the anthology supporting Compassiviste Foundation's humanitarian and sustainability projects. To mark the occasion, we have invited our collaborators to turn inwards and share their thoughts on what celebration means to them—in their culture, in their families, and in their own individual lives. The result is a fascinating look at celebrations from around the world; a glimpse into everything from national and religious festivals to those private moments between loved ones that give life a deeper meaning. By appreciating each other's cultures and traditions, we seek to honour the rich tapestry of life on Earth, celebrating both our differences, and the threads of humanity that bind us all together. From Christmas to Diwali, April Fool's Day to Thanksgiving, and all those precious moments in between, join us in celebrating celebrations in all their forms! Featuring work by Rathin Bhattarcharjee, Linda Bjork, Dr Bhargavi Chatterjea Bhattacharyya, Amber Byers, Anjonn Dasgupta, Barbara Anna Gaiardoni, Ali Horriyat, Allan Lake, Christine Law, Henry Vinicio Valerio Madriz, Joan McNerny, P. Muralidharan, Imran Ali Namazi, K.V. Raghupathi, Ndaba Sibanda, S.P. Singh and Lynn White. 100% of profits support Compassiviste Foundation's projects, helping to build a better world for all of Earth's inhabitants.
