I loved how the main characters just couldn't seem to get a break and stumbled from one bad experience to another. Brings to mind what George Clooney always said in the "O Brother" movie - "Man, we're in a tight spot!" Fits this book perfectly. And then the dream sequence - that really cracked me up. As the main hero is dodging bad guys left & right, the main heroine is having a sexy dream about him, dead to the world and completely unaware of what is happening all around her! Loved it! There is non-stop action and we get to learn more about Frost's character. He becomes even more believable as it becomes more and more evident, who the Alpha bitch is. Colby has a wonderful imagination and I do believe she has successfully written something that has never been written before. And, isn't that what we all crave when reading; something new and different. I loved the first book in this paranormal series (The Alpha's a Bitch: Beginnings), so as soon as Rampage came out, I didn't waste any time getting it. Although it is a series, I don't think you have to read the first book before you read "The Alpha's a Bitch: Rampage." If you read Rampage first, I recommend reading Beginnings also. It will give you some background into the unique relationship between Stephanie, Frost and Simon Jr. Whether you read Beginnings first or start with Rampage, I highly recommend both.
