Even though I am sad that he is gone I understand that he made the choice and he was ready to go. Walking my dad through the death process helped me to understand more deeply the feelings and fears we have when we are on our deathbeds. We look back at the lives we’ve lived, the choices we’ve made and how we’ve lived our lives.
